RESCHEDULED: Creation Care Book Discussion: “Doughnut Economics” (NCC Creation Care)

June 30, 2025 @ 10:30 am

When we scheduled this book discussion, we forgot that tomorrow morning is the time that our NCCUMC youth are heading for Breakaway.  Please keep them in your prayers.  AND we will reschedule part two of Doughnut Economics for next week:  Monday, JUNE 30 at 10:30 a.m.

We had a good discussion on Doughnut Economics—but we didn’t quite finish so we decided to continue the discussion on Monday, June 23 at 10:30 a.m.  Leigh Williams will lead our discussion and has provided some links below.

Looking ahead to September…

Also, if you want to go ahead and read the selection for September 22, the book will be From Wasteland to Wonder by Basil Camu (a local author).  You may download the book for free (or purchase a hardcover for $10.75) here:

https://www.leaflimb.com/wonder

You can check out a couple of podcasts with Basil Camu on Joe Gardener:

Also, we mentioned meeting up to shop for native plants (so watch for details to follow later).
