Digital Opportunity Gathering Resource Roundup (NCSU Institute for Emerging Issues)

Join the Faith & Community team and Kylie Foley with BAND-NC for a resource round-up from the recent Digital Opportunity Gathering hosted by NCDIT and BAND-NC. Over 200 North Carolinians, including faith leaders, shared action steps to help communities connect over important topics like Telehealth, Digital Workforce, and Disaster Prep and Recovery. Kylie Foley is the Digital Inclusion Specialist for the BAND-NC program at the Institute for Emerging Issues. Focused on local and regional digital inclusion plans, BAND-NC helps connect broadband and digital opportunity partners across the state to resources to deepen their programs. Faith communities frequently serve as integral players in this work with ministries dedicated to making sure communities have digital skills, devices, and access to high-speed broadband.
