Leadership Training
Church members who serve on a local church committee are invited to attend a leadership training event to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of your committee.
Please register for either an in-person or virtual training below.
⛪️ In-Person Training
The following districts will offer in-person training opportunities. The dates and locations are below each district name. If you prefer not to join in person, view the Virtual Training options.
If you are not in one of the three districts but want to join in person, contact the AADS of that district to see if there is space available.
Corridor District
January 26, 2025, at 2 pm
The training will be held at Aldersgate UMC. Please arrive at 1:45 for check-in.

January 12, 2025, at 3 pm
The training will be held at Louisburg UMC. Please arrive at 2:45 for check-in.

February 2, 2025, at 2 pm
The training will be held at Westminster UMC. Please arrive at 1:45 for check-in.

💻 Virtual Training
Host watch parties or individually view your committee’s recorded training. Then, join the live Q&A sessions that last up to 45 minutes.
The recordings and live Q&A sessions will cover:

This year, we are encouraging local church committees to either host watch parties or individually view their committee’s recorded training.

Local Church Leadership Q&A
February 23, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm
From 1-7 pm, a committee will be featured every hour in a live Q&A session, with a break for dinner.
Each live session will start with a 5-10 minute overview of key points and updates from previous trainings, followed by a time for your questions.
Q&A sessions will be recorded, but we encourage you to attend live.
