Rev. J. Dana Trent is our guest speaker for this year’s retreat, which will be held on September 11-13 at Ft. Caswell Conference Ctr. Our theme is “The Stories We Share.”We will begin our time together by checking in by 4:00 pm on Wednesday and end our time together before noon on Friday.
During this Day of Learning, clergy and laity will become equipped with descriptions and definitions to better understand the range and types of trauma. Dr. Heath will outline practical trauma interventions for harm prevention and suggest ways to respond and nurture individuals who have encountered trauma in their lives or the church.
