Water and Wilderness Worship and Seminar

The Corridor District of the NCCUMC invites you to join us for an immersive Water and Wilderness Worship and instructional seminar led by Father Pete Nunnally, the Wilderness Priest. Pete is an Episcopal priest and founder of Water and Wilderness Church, a fully outdoor, nature-based church community. Father Pete will lead the WWC worship at Camp Chestnut Ridge and share liturgical insights of WWC. After worship, we’ll have lunch (included in registration fee), and Father Pete will share his insights on starting an outdoor church and the theological underpinnings of WWC based on the Ecology of God. There will be time for questions and discussion. WWC is more than a local church, it is a watershed community of people across the country who believe nature is God’s heartbeat.
