Cross and Key Prison Ministries Sunday will be celebrated in our conference on August 24, 2025. A special offering can be taken on this date or on a date of your choosing in support of this prison outreach. Cross and Key Prison Ministries helps congregations of all sizes begin new prison ministry initiatives or reignite an existing prison ministry. First started in 1999 as Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries, Cross and Key Prison Ministries has trained and equipped numerous United Methodist congregations in NC respond to the call to visit those in prison. Now, utilizing their comprehensive 70-page Toolkit for prison ministry, Cross and Key Prison Ministries is providing free training workshops throughout the state.
