Trip to DC – Mutual Aid to Migrants From TX/AZ

Since April 2022, the governors of Texas and Arizona have been bussing migrants to Union Station in Washington, DC and dropping them off without the benefit of resources to help them travel to their sponsors in other parts of the country. Since neither the federal or local governments are providing aid, a group of organizations and individuals have organized to provide mutual aid to the migrants; providing them with food, cell phones, temporary lodging, toiletries, clothing and other necessities. Hope 4 Humanity (H4H) will be taking a group of folks to DC to help with and learn from the mutual aid movement, September 1-4, 2022.
