First United Methodist Church in Cary, North Carolina, (First Cary) seeks a Database Coordinator to join the team. The purpose and mission of the Database Coordinator is to support the ministry of First Cary through the sharing of exceptional database, logistics, and organizational skill sets.
The Coordinator will also exemplify hospitality and a passion for relational ministry while carrying out these responsibilities, as the Coordinator will be a key team player in helping guide the ministry to fulfill its goals. The Coordinator is responsible for providing database and logistics support to the church clergy and staff, members and groups within the congregation, and for coordination of facility use by outside groups.
Skills and knowledge must include:
–Exceptional database, organizational, planning, and computer skills
–Attention to detail and accuracy
–A commitment to good interpersonal relationships, teamwork, and support of church ministries
–Experience working in an office setting
–On site presence will be needed two days a week
–Some remote work is included
