Position Details:
Location: Edgerton Memorial United Methodist Church, 401 W. Anderson Street, Selma, NC 27576
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications
What You’ll Do:
- Provide Loving Care: Welcome families, manage sign-ins, and ensure children feel safe and cared for during services.
- Engage & Inspire: Share simple Bible stories, sing joyful songs, and lead fun crafts and activities that nurture their faith and creativity.
- Create a Safe & Nurturing Environment: Maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
About You:
- Experience working with young children in a nursery, daycare, or similar setting.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with children and families.
- CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).
- Must pass a background check.
