Aldersgate is seeking a part-time Facilities Manager. Work hours are M – Thur, 8 am-2 pm plus any hours 24/7, outside of the agreed upon schedule as needed.
Major qualifications and responsibilities include:
Relational
- Works well with others, desires to be a part of a successful team
- Respect for staff, congregation, and administrative church teams, such as Trustees
Professional
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritize and plan workflow
- Maintains a well-organized inventory of parts and equipment
Operational
- Recruits and manages vendors and contractors for project-based work. Annually reviews vendor and contractor performance
- Ability to handle routine upkeep and repairs to campus facilities
- Prepares and manages proposals, quotes, work orders, and deliverables documentation for contracted services
- Responsible for and knowledgeable of general maintenance of all buildings and grounds on the AUMC campus, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical components
Functional
- Schedule and maintain all facility safety inspections to ensure compliance with local and state laws. Ensure facilities and buildings comply with local, state, and federal guidelines, codes, and safety regulations
- Maintain and organize records, licenses, and documentation
- Responsible for prioritizing and monitoring maintenance budget line items
