Rev. Dr. Gloria Winston
Rev. Dr. Gloria Winston serves as the first executive director of the first and only Wesley Foundation/Campus Ministry at a historically black college or university (HBCU) in the NC Conference. She has been appointed to this position since 2014.
NCCU Wesley Campus Ministry
NCCU Wesley Campus Ministry is a spiritual family and faith community, providing a Christ-filled space for students and the campus of North Carolina Central University (NCCU) to ask questions, engage in Christian fellowship, and grow in their faith. Activities include small group studies, meals, worship, and service projects.
A Leader Forming Ministry
Through generous grant funding from The Duke Endowment for the Voices of Faith In Action (VOFIA) Program, NCCU Wesley Campus Ministry has trained student faith leaders in trauma-informed care to grow in their faith as student leaders and equipped them with tools, practices, and resources to maintain good mental health and well-being in ministry. These student leaders train others and are better equipped to connect in their local communities and promote trauma-informed care approaches in ministry.
