If your United Methodist church, or nonprofit with a connection to a UMC is committed to justice and equity, take note of this opportunity to apply for a Peace with Justice grant. The Board of Church and Society funds projects that work for equity where it does not exist, programs that address poverty, reconciliation work, and initiatives that develop leaders who can support this work.
Submit materials by midnight on September 15. Decision will be made by the end of September and funding will be awarded shortly after.
