COVID Guidelines
While the World Health Organization (WHO) ended its declaration of COVID-19 as a global health emergency on May 5, 2023, it is still considered a pandemic, and over 100 Americans continue to die each day from COVID. We care about the health of Annual Conference attendees. As we prepare for Annual Conference 2024, we want you to know the steps we encourage to help people remain COVID-free.
- You are not required to wear masks at Annual Conference but you are certainly welcome to, as masking can help protect you from COVID as well as other respiratory illnesses.
- We encourage everyone to take a rapid COVID test before journeying to Annual Conference. If you test positive, please do not come to Annual Conference. Follow the CDC guidelines.
- If you are sick or feeling ill before Annual Conference, please do not come to Annual Conference. Seek medical help through your primary medical provider.
- If you discover that you have been exposed to someone who is COVID-positive immediately before or during Annual Conference, we ask that you follow the CDC guidelines mentioned above.
- You can protect yourself by staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. People over 65 years old and those that are immunocompromised are now eligible for a second bivalent COVID vaccine.
- The Greenville Convention Center has an HVAC system that provides excellent air filtration and exchange rates.
We have considered this in all our Annual Conference planning. Our prayers are for a meaningful, spirit-filled, and safe Annual Conference. We ask for your help in making this a reality.
