🙋 Volunteers Needed
Annual Conference is right around the corner, and many volunteers are needed to ensure a successful Conference. Below is a signup for some of those roles. Please consider signing up for any roles as you are able and interested in helping out with.
Once you sign up, you will receive an email before Annual Conference with information about a place to gather at the time your ‘shift’ starts. When you gather, specific instructions will be shared like where you will be standing or what you can expect during the time you signed up for.
Abundant thanks in advance for your help with our 2023 Annual Conference! If you are unable to access the sign up or you have questions, please contact Caroline Jackson at 910-890-6687 or via email at caroline.jackson@nccumc.org.
Miss the AC Briefing Session? Want to watch it again? Catch the replay on the Annual Conference page or in the app.
👩‍💻 First-Time Attendee Zoom
Are you new to Annual Conference? Or maybe it’s been a while since you have attended? Join others and bring your questions to a First-Time Attendee Zoom on June 6 at noon. A recording will be available on the Annual Conference 2023 website.
📸 Share Ministry Photos for Worship
This year, we are highlighting how churches in the North Carolina Conference are practicing acts of “Graceful Hospitality,” especially how churches are connecting with people on the margins. Please email one high-resolution photo with a brief description to Rev. Dr. Donna Thompson, Artist in Residence for the NC Conference, at dthompson@nccumc.org. The images will be displayed during Opening Worship. The deadline for submitting photos is June 9, 2023.
Amplify is a streaming service of United Methodist Bible study, worship, and faith formation videos. Once again, the NC Conference has partnered with Cokesbury to provide new subscribers with a discount. Use code EASTERNNC to get 30 days free plus 50% off your subscription price for 3 months. The code is good through the end of August 2023. Sign up for Amplify→
