When: March 5-10, 2019
Where: New York/Washington DC
Theme: “Erasing Lines – Welcoming Immigrants and Refugees”
Revelation 7:9 “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”
As United Methodists we are led to pursue personal and social holiness. In Revelation we are reminded that before God, there are no lines or borders, just children of God. During Global Vision 2019, we hope to explore how the grace of Christ calls us to welcome all of our brothers and sisters as one body. The UMC Social principles will serve as the foundation for each of our five seminars. We will spend time seeing the sights of the Big Apple and attend a show on Broadway. Come join us as we journey to Washington DC and New York City, living our faith and seeking justice as we go.
Deans: Sarah Lancaster and Hannah McMillian
