It’s time to begin preparing for the Season of Creation! In the month of September, congregations of the NCC are invited to join with our sisters and brothers around the world in giving thanks and praise to God for the gift of the created world as we ponder the mystery of creation and renew our commitments to live in peace and harmony within it.
The NC Conference Creation Care Committee offers several resources this year to help pastors and congregations engage in the celebration. Below are links to preaching and worship resources.
Information and registration for an outdoor worship workshop on September 3 are available here.
Information and registration for our annual Thursday night free webinars are coming soon. Topics include green burial, church property habitat enhancements, eco-mission, and climate and health.

Peace With Creation Celebration Guide
This guide is produced annually by a worldwide steering committee, which includes the World Methodist Council. The committee was formed to help Christians around the world fulfill the purpose of the season, and each year, the committee publishes an ecumenical worship guide for the Season of Creation, complete with a scriptural theme, prayers, liturgies, and ideas for celebratory events and practices.
