$ Renewal – Belief in Office: A Panel of Local Leaders (Iliff School of Theology)
October 16, 2025 @ 2:00 pm
A Part of our Renewal Season “At the Intersection of Belief and Action”
How do beliefs and principles show up in political office? How do you balance your most important ideals with the demands of constituents, costs of elections, and pressure from every direction? Where can an elected official really make lasting change?
For our October Renewal session, we are asking four local leaders to share about how their beliefs shaped their bid for office and their day-to-day service. We are especially excited to have two Iliff alumnae among the leaders participating in the panel. Join us for a conversation about belief in everyday local leadership.
Panelists:
Senator Lucia Guzman, Retired Colorado State Senator and Iliff Alum.
Councilwoman Romero Campbell, Denver City Council District 4
Councilman Chris Hinds, Denver City Council District 10
Rev. Dr. Amanda Henderson, Candidate for Littleton City Council
