Launchpad: Ignition Point (Discipleship Ministries)

Paul Nixon and Isaiah Park of Path 1 are re-engineering Launchpad Planter Training to account for significant shifts in how we plant new faith communities in the 2020s, following the pandemic.
Launchpad has been in operation since 2010 and has provided hundreds of clergy and laity with practical training for starting new faith communities. It was designed to help planters think strategically and apply the principles as they are led in building a customized action plan tailored to their specific setting. It has been an effective resource for planters across the United States and globally.
There will be a free Session One of Launchpad, focused on the “Seasons of Planting” and the “Season of Discernment and Discovery” at the beginning of a planting project. This free two-and-a-half-hour live Zoom conference (with full interactivity) will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4:30-7:00 p.m., CT. Click here to learn more and register today!
The remaining four sessions of Launchpad will be held in the winter of 2026, one session a week for a month. Because the training is online, rather than in person, it is accessible to entire planting teams, not just to pastors and/or planter leaders who can access funds for travel. For those who wish to attend all five sessions, the registration fee of $299 includes up to five team members. Dates for the winter sessions will be available soon.
We encourage church developers, district superintendents, and others who oversee new ministry start-ups to inform start-up leaders about the free September 23 session, so they can mark their calendars and invite others to join them for the session.
