Christian Nationalism and Our Families: A Webinar Series (InterVarsity Press)

February 10 @ 8:00 pm

In recent years, Christian nationalism in the United States has become more and more prevalent, leading to tense discussions around faith, identity, and politics, and a cultural climate marked by division. It can be difficult to navigate these issues ourselves, let alone figuring out how to engage our own families, communities, and kids.

In this two-part webinar series, we invite trusted IVP authors to join us for a timely conversation, identifying what Christian nationalism is, the causes of its increased prevalence, and how it affects our communities, including the youngest among us.

Part Two

Addressing Christian Nationalism with Our Families and Communities

February 10, 2026 at 7:00 pm CST

You’re at a family dinner, and an argument about faith and politics breaks out in front of your five-year-old. Or a fellow parent complains about your local school district pushing a certain agenda. How do we respond to these situations with Christ-like love and truth? In our second session, Lacy Finn Borgo, Caleb Campbell, and Christina Edmondson will join us for a panel discussion, answering this very question. Their conversation will touch on topics such as what to do when family members or communities disagree, how to tend to the spiritual lives of our kids when talking about Christian nationalism, and the need for intentional family discipleship through it all. At the end of the webinar, you’ll also have the opportunity to ask our panelists questions.
