Celebrating the “Sisters Circuit”: A Conversation About Women Uplifting Women, the Itinerant System, and the Power of Worshipping Together (General Commission on the Status and Role of Women)
March 10 @ 1:00 pm
The Sisters Circuit is an innovative and inspiring preaching exchange in Nashville, TN where four female senior pastors—the first to be appointed to their congregations—take turns speaking in one another’s home churches. This unique partnership aims to: – Empower female voices. The circuit elevates the voices and leadership of women in ministry, showcasing their theological depth and pastoral skills to new audiences. – Strengthen inter-church bonds. It builds fellowship and solidarity among different congregations, demonstrating Christian unity across United Methodist churches and challenging us to make a collective kingdom impact. – Bring fresh perspectives. The guest pastors offer new insights and perspectives, providing a revitalizing experience for each congregation. Join Rev. Toi King (Clark Memorial UMC), Rev. Dr. Carol Cavin-Dillon (West End UMC), Rev. Dr. Paula Smith (Gordon Memorial UMC) and Rev. Sam McGlothlin (Belle Meade UMC) for a conversation about the Sisters Circuit and its powerful outcomes.
