Join Rev. Dr. Kymberley Clemons-Jones for a two-part workshop on Rizpah, a Biblical woman whose story inspires and informs our call to interrupt the school-to-prison pipeline today. This interactive workshop series explores the powerful story of Rizpah (2 Samuel 21), a mother who stood in defiant love and unwavering commitment to justice. Her actions are a model of resilience, sacrifice, and social activism. Through her story, we will examine themes of healing, advocacy, patriarchy’s impact, and motherly love’s role in fostering community restoration. Themes of resilience in the face of injustice, patriarchy and power structures, sacrificial love and healing, social justice, and the role of women in transformation will be explored. This interactive series is hosted by United Women in Faith. There is no cost to participate. All are welcome. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis with limited space.
