Brent Levy is the pastor of The Local Church, A United Methodist Congregation, in Chatham County, NC, and a trained spiritual director. His work is shaped by a deep passion for seeing the holy in the ordinary, creating spaces of belonging, and helping others listen for the Divine beyond, among, and within. He lives with his wife and two kids in Pittsboro.
Tyler is the Lead Pastor at Village Church Rolesville, which he helped to plant in 2018. A native North Carolinian as well as lifelong United Methodist and Duke fan, Tyler graduated twice from Duke (undergrad and Divinity School) where he also met his wife, Lauren. Tyler has three boys all under the age of ten so there is never a dull moment in the William’s house! He enjoys running, hiking, traveling with family and attending Duke sporting events. When it comes to ministry, Tyler is passionate about what he describes as “belonging people to Jesus,” and still enjoys hosting a small group at his home twice every month.
