  • Basic Course in Lay Servant Ministries – 6 Weeks!

    The Capital district is pleased to offer this course, which is open to all laity. It’s a great opportunity to explore the many ways laypersons can live out their call to ministry in the United Methodist Church. This course is also a required step for anyone pursuing certification as a lay servant, lay speaker, or lay minister. Note that it takes place on Monday evenings for 90 minutes sessions for six weeks. You must attend all sessions to receive course credit!
