For required forms and documents, please see the Candidacy Tab in the Online Data Collection Service (OLDCS). It is your responsibility to keep up with these forms and documents throughout the process. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Becki Leeland, Executive Assistant, Office of Clergy Life.
All written work must be emailed directly to registrar@nccumc.org.

If you encounter any challenges with uploading your videos or formatting any of your documents, please contact the Office of Clergy Life well in advance of the deadlines so that we might best assist you. July 15, 2026, 5:00 pm – EVERYBODY (dCOM, Days of Discernment, Commissioning, and Ordination)
- Everyone needs to check in to review and update forms in your Candidacy Tab in Online Data Collection Service (OLDCS)
- Written Work due for District Committees (dCOM) for those seeking Commissioning
August 2026: dCOM Interviews for those seeking Commissioning (individuals will be contacted about interview dates by their Districts).
Days of Discernment
September 15, 2026, 5:00 pm EDT: Written work due for Days of Discernment
October 5-7: Days of Discernment – Held at St. Luke UMC, Sanford
Commissioning
January 6, 2027, 5:00 pm EST:
- Written Work and Videos due for Provisional Membership
- Form 109 – Faculty Member
- Form 109 – Field Education Office
- Final Seminary Transcript (or Equivalent)
February 16-18: Provisional Membership and Continuation Interviews – Held at St. Luke UMC, Sanford
Full Connection
February 6, 2027, 5:00 pm EST:
- Written Work and Videos due for Full Connection Membership
