Rev. Donna Fowler-Marchant

Rev. Donna Fowler-Marchant serves as Minister in the West Hertfordshire and Borders Circuit of the British Methodist Church. She has been in the North Carolina Conference since 1996 and has served small rural churches and large urban ones. She is a graduate of Meredith College, Duke Divinity School, and Wesley Theological Seminary. She is also the author of Mothers in Israel: Methodist Beginnings through the Eyes of Women.

British Methodist Church

Rev. Fowler-Marchant has been serving in the West Hertfordshire and Borders Circuit of the British Methodist Church since September 2020. She is the minister of four very different churches, and she has had to learn to navigate not only a new country and culture but also the pandemic and post-pandemic realities of church life in England.

A Disciple Making Ministry

Each of the four churches seeks to nurture the faith of those who are already part of the community and to be welcoming and inviting to people in the larger community. They do this in a variety of ways, including ecumenical Bible studies as well as “in-house“ opportunities.
