CUIR Call for Stories

The Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Relationships (CUIR) sees our mission as breaking barriers and building bridges of shalom with all people of faith. While that may sound like grandiose work done on a high level, the truth is that it really takes place at the local and personal levels. At this year’s Annual Conference, we want to highlight the many ways that it takes place around the communities that make up the North Carolina Conference, so we want to hear your stories.

What work have you done to develop and maintain unity with other Christians and/or other churches around you? Do you worship together, meet with other pastors and priests, work together to meet the needs of the vulnerable in your community?

What relationships do you share with people of other faiths in your community? Do you share in common worship, community service, or special meals? What have you learned?

Please share your stories in the form below by April 25.
