Bishop Shelton invites us to join her and the Cabinet for Faith in Action on September 13, September 20, October 18, and October 25 to bring hope to families recovering from hurricanes in Columbus County. Together, we will work to repair 20 homes. Weekday opportunities are also available.
We will also have a friendly competition among our eight districts to see which district brings in the most volunteers and receives the highest monetary gifts.
There are several ways you can serve and participate in this ministry:
- Assist with essential home repairs, such as roofing, flooring, painting, and stair repairs
- Help prepare and deliver lunches to repair teams working in the field
- Prepare work materials and supplies on Friday to get ready for Saturday’s activities
If you are unable to attend in-person, you can still support this ministry through the NC Storm Fund. 100% of your gift will go to disaster relief efforts in North Carolina.
