Yoly is an ordained elder in full connection in the Puerto Rico Methodist Conference. She holds a B.S. in Christian Education and a Master of Divinity from the Puerto Rico Evangelical Seminary. She has served congregations across three conferences—Puerto Rico, Rio Texas, and North Carolina, offering pastoral leadership in six churches.
From an early age, Yoly has been deeply involved in church life, serving both as a layperson and a pastor. She is passionate about ministries with children and youth, particularly camps and retreats; Christian education with a strong emphasis on discipleship; and the creative arts in worship, including music, pantomime, and theater.
A proud Hispanic-Caribbean woman, Yoly loves the beach, music, and dancing. She was married for 33 years to the love of her life, Miguel A. Santiago Rodríguez, who passed away in 2021, with whom she shares a daughter, Yolanda Michelle Santiago Correa.
