A North Carolina native, Beverly earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Meredith College and NC State University. After a background in teaching and educational research, Beverly came to the conference in 2013 and currently works with Connectional and Youth Ministries.
Her upbringing in the small town of Mt. Gilead instilled in her the power of the local church in the community and in individual lives, including her own. She is delighted to spend her days supporting the work of these churches.
Beverly and her husband Russ have a young adult daughter who leaves them in the dust in practically every area and who recently added a smiling son-in-law from Chicago to the family picture.
When not at the office, Beverly can typically be found working on jigsaw puzzles, playing sudoku, or walking on the beach at Ocean Isle.
