We are pleased to share that the nomination window for the annual service award honoring Bud Cameron is now open.

Rev. Bud Cameron, a retired pastor from the Western NC Conference, began serving in the North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church in 2019. He served as pastor of Corinth UMC in Four Oaks until June 2022.

The Rev. Dennis W. “Bud” Cameron Christian Service Award is given in honor and memory of Rev. Dennis W. “Bud” Cameron (1947-2023), who faithfully served God and others through his life, work, and ministry. This award recognizes and celebrates people who, like Cameron, have selflessly devoted their lives to Christian service.

If you know someone who deserves to be recognized for being the hands and feet of Christ, complete the following nomination form by April 30, 2026. The award recipient will receive $500 to use at their discretion or donate to an organization of their choice.
