This morning, a hearing was held in the North Carolina Court of Appeals on the former Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church congregation’s appeal of the decision dismissing the lawsuit that had been filed against the NC Conference and Conference officials. Both parties presented their cases, and a decision will be made in the near future.
