Anderson is passionate about using authentic communication to strengthen relationships, equip ministry leaders, and share the many ways God is at work across our connection. She looks forward to building relationships with churches throughout the Conference and helping tell stories of hope, transformation, and faithful discipleship. 

Anderson’s connection to The United Methodist Church began through the Wesley Foundation at Western Carolina University, where she experienced the Church as a community committed to welcoming others, serving selflessly, and living out the teachings of Christ. She is a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church, where she has served in several leadership roles, including Lay Leader. 

“Throughout this search, we prayed for someone who could combine technical excellence with a heart for ministry. Ashley embodies both. She brings exceptional communications expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for the Church’s mission,” said Rev. Ismael Ruiz-Millán, Executive Director of Connectional Ministries. “I am confident her leadership will help us tell the story of God’s transforming work across the North Carolina Conference in ways that inspire, connect, and equip our churches for ministry. We are excited to welcome Ashley to our team and look forward to serving alongside her.”
