Communications Grants Available for Local Churches

The NC Conference Communications Committee is offering grants to local churches to help with their communications ministries. Churches can use funds to add new equipment, upgrade existing equipment, or pay for the cost of future services. Members of the Conference Communications Committee and Communications staff will review grant applications.

Before completing the application, we urge churches to evaluate their current capabilities and needs while envisioning future ministry needs and possibilities. We’ve gathered some considerations for churches to think through as they apply for this grant. Please read through this information as you prepare to fill out the grant application.

When you’re ready, apply for the Communications Grant. The form can be started and completed later, but we strongly encourage you to submit your grant application early. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Jay Locklear.

Church Communications Consultant

Also, the Communications Committee is excited to announce the creation of a new Church Communications Consultant position. Jay Locklear transitioned into this new role after previously serving on the Disaster Ministries team.

The Church Communications Consultant will provide training and resources to pastors and local churches as they continue to navigate the ever-changing ways we gather for ministry. By creating this position, we hope to equip churches to share the gospel and make disciples in new and creative ways.
