Rev. Ben Williams has recently been named the President and CEO of Methodist Home for Children, starting August 1, 2025, following Rev. Bruce Stanley’s retirement.
Williams, senior pastor at Christ UMC in Chapel Hill, has served United Methodist churches within the North Carolina Conference for 23 years. Williams will remain at Christ UMC until July 31, 2025.
We give thanks for Rev. Bruce Stanley’s 19 years of faithful service and leadership with Methodist Home for Children, supporting families and children across North Carolina. As Rev. Stanley steps into retirement, we pray for Rev. Williams and Methodist Home for Children in this new season of ministry.
