Who We Are

Connectional Ministries helps your church identify and build its God-given strengths to fully impact lives, both inside and outside of your congregation.

Churches come in all shapes and sizes, so we offer a strength-based process to help you figure out what you have that God can build upon. Then together we will map out a plan of action that is fruitful for your ministry. Learn more about the process on our What We Do page.

We also connect you and your congregation to the vision, structure, and programs of our Conference and the general UMC, Healthy Congregations and Effective Leader Initiatives, and grants that equip churches for ministry. Read more about our work.

Our Executive Director/Church Revitalization Leader and Coordinators of Outreach Ministry and Christian Formation work directly with our Conference Connectional Table, helping conference boards, committees and agencies with visioning, strategic planning, budgeting, and evaluation so that these ministries may strengthen the work of local congregations.

Our entire Connectional Team (listed below) is made up of Conference staff members focused on serving congregations according to the the mission of the North Carolina Conference.
