{"id":11572,"date":"2013-04-18T08:56:44","date_gmt":"2013-04-18T12:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nccumc.org\/treasurer\/?page_id=11572"},"modified":"2022-12-16T14:47:34","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T19:47:34","slug":"amazing-pace-walking-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nccumc.org\/treasurer\/insurance\/amazing-pace-walking-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazing Pace Walking Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Program Change Effective January 1, 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are excited about the new well-being offerings through Wespath\u2019s HealthFlex insurance program starting on January 1, 2023.\u00a0 Along with each new beginning comes an ending.\u00a0 The corporate health of our conference members has been blessed by the Amazing Pace walking program provided by the NC Conference\u2019s Insurance Committee.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what you need to know about the transition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>The Amazing Pace program will end for all participants on December 31, 2022.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Amazing Pace rewards for the fourth quarter of 2022 will be the last rewards from this program.&nbsp; They will be processed as usual in January 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replacement of any unreceived rewards from the Amazing Pace program will end on March 31, 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Program Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The North Carolina Conference walking program sponsored by the Conference Insurance Committee is FREE to all clergy, their spouses and qualified Health Plan Insurees. The free participation includes all active and retired clergy, their spouses as well as lay participants in the Conference Health Plan and their spouses who are covered by the Conference Health Plan. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional enrollment is available, if paid by the church or individual, for lay employees or their spouses not in the Conference Health Plan. Enrollment is open 24\/7 year-round.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enroll, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/members.walkingspree.com\/register\/amazingpacencc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">registration website <\/a>and complete the information there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em><strong>Criteria and Reward Schedule:<\/strong><\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To earn the base reward of up to $250\/year:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>register before the start of the new journey (calendar quarter)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meet the minimum average daily step count of <strong><em>2,000<\/em><\/strong> steps during the journey <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Earn the $50 Step Up reward:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>meet the base reward criteria above for the entire calendar year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have a daily average step count of <em><strong>5,000<\/strong><\/em> steps over the calendar year <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Earn the $125 Boost Up reward:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>meet the base reward criteria above<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>average <em><strong>10,000<\/strong><\/em> steps per day for each day in the first half (January 1 &#8211; June 30) and\/or the second half (July 1 &#8211; December 31) of the calendar year to earn a $125 incentive paid at the end of the second and\/or the fourth journeys  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get your rewards the fast and easy way by signing up for automatic bank deposit!
