After an unanticipated delay in the start of the NC Conference Insurance Benefits Open Enrollment period, the Conference Team has developed a new method of making 2021 insurance elections for participants. Clergy and lay members already enrolled in the 2020 insurance plans may now visit this online form. The new Open Enrollment period will end on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
All the usual elections related to Health, Dental, Flexible Spending Accounts and Life insurance will be made through the Open Enrollment Form. The form can be saved, continued and submitted at a later time up to the end of the Open Enrollment period, if needed. If the form has been submitted and a change is needed later during the new Open Enrollment period, participants must complete a new form. For full benefit option details, refer to the Open Enrollment booklets that were previously mailed to participants. The booklets are also posted online.
Active clergy and lay members enrolling in benefit plans for the first time in 2021 should contact the Benefits Team at firstname.lastname@example.org for next steps to enroll prior to Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Retired clergy and lay members only need to take action during Open Enrollment if beneficiary changes need to be made.
