SoSA Carolinas Yam Jam
Society of St. Andrew is sponsoring two Yam Jam events this year – Oct.5 and Oct. 12. Gleaners most likely will be working at a farm in the Johnston-Harnett county area. The exact location will be shared with persons/groups who register. Gleaning time is flexible, but gleaners are encouraged to spend as much time at the field as possible, either bagging or helping to load the trucks. To register, go to gleaning. Call 866-453-2662 or e-mail sosanc@endhunger.org if you have any questions.
