NCC Youth choir still seeking participants
There are still spaces available for youth to attend the Youth Choir Workshop June 11-13 at Louisburg College under the direction of Allen Pote. The planners would like to have youth participants from each district so the choir will be representative of the entire NC Conference. Youth who have completed grades 6-12 are invited to attend. The Conference Youth Choir will sing at the Wednesday evening session of Annual Conference in Raleigh on June 13, so in addition to the music workshop, they will also get a small taste of NC Annual Conference. The workshop is sponsored by Louisburg College and the NC Chapter of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts and the cost is $100, which includes room, meals, and transportation from Louisburg to Raleigh for the Annual Conference session. Attendance is limited to the first 100 youth who register. Scholarships are available in some districts. For more information, go to http://fummwa.nccumc.net/youth-choir-workshop/ or email Kathie Wilkinson: atkwilkinson@nccumc.org.
