Daily sessions of Annual Conference, June 10-13 can be viewed on the Internet through video streaming. Visit the conference website, nccumc.org, on Wednesday morning, June 10 for instructions. With the exception of the five Thursday evening workshops, all other sessions can be watched. Shortly after live sessions have completed, downloads will be available to watch any previous session.
New clergy pictorial directory
All clergy should visit the Olan Mills Studio location in the Hilton Hotel during Annual Conference. The date and times photos will be taken are Wednesday, June 10, 1-7 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon. Direction signs to the studio will be in the Hilton. The spouse can be included in a photograph but several photographs must be taken only of the person under Episcopal appointment.
Reminder about meal changes
Deacons and Diaconal Ministers, also retired deacons and diaconals, of the NC Annual Conference will be having a dinner on Thursday, June 11 at St. James UMC, Greenville. Cost is $10. RSVP to Joyce Day firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
The Duke Alumni Gathering luncheon will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, June 11. The cost of the meal is $15 per person. This year’s speaker will be Dr. Warren Smith, associate professor of Historical Theology at Duke Divinity School. Deadline for registration has been extended, please e-mail Rev. Tony Joyner at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Monday, June 8.
