New appointment List and Passed Resolutions Now Online
Bishop Ward officially fixed the appointments for the upcoming year on Saturday morning, June 14 so the 2014-2015 appointment list is now online at appointments. The full text of all resolutions approved at Annual Conference can be read at the AC 2014 page under the “Important Documents” section.
New Online Catalog in the Conference Media Center
The NC Conference Media Center has launched a brand new online catalog to increase access to their collection of over 3,000 Bible studies, videos, books, and other ministry resources. The new catalog, OPALS, features user accounts, item availability, cover images, better search options, create-your-own bibliographies, user reviews, and more. Visit the Media Center website to request a user account or learn your way around OPALS with the user guide or video tutorial. Feedback is welcomed!

Ethnic Local Church Grant Applications due Aug. 10
August 10 is the deadline to apply for an Ethnic Local Church Grant from the United Methodist General Board of Church & Society (GBCS). The grants are to strengthen ethnic minority local churches through education, advocacy or leadership development as they engage in social justice.
