Bishop Ward: Disaster Recovery in eastern NC
Bishop Ward shares her thoughts on the conference hurricane disaster recovery endeavors in eastern North Carolina in this week’s edition of Connections.
One Great Hour of Sharing
One Great Hour of Sharing Sunday, March 10, is quickly approaching. Donations UMCOR receives through this offering make it possible for UMCOR to use 100% of all other contributions on the projects donors designate, instead of on administrative or fundraising costs. UMCOR doesn’t receive United Methodist World Service or apportionment funds, so without the OGHS offerings, UMCOR would not be able to function. Bulletin inserts, posters, children’s sermons, and other resources are available for free online.
Conference seeking nominations for committee vacancies
The Conference Committee on Nominations invites persons to consider serving the North Carolina Conference on ministry committees, boards, and agencies. To review the list of vacancies and to submit a nomination, please visit https://nccumc.org/treasurer/nominations/.
