2013 Online Pension Forms Due December 10
The 2013 Pension Worksheet and the Contribution to PIP forms on the Online Data Collection System are due to be completed by Monday, December 10. All pastors serving an appointment to a local church, regardless of retired or pension plan enrollment status, must complete the Pension Worksheet online. Any active pastor who wants to contribute their personal monies towards their retirement savings may do so by completing the Contribution to PIP form also online. Reminder: enter the date(s) as 01/01/2013 to ensure that the 2013 contribution election is captured and sent to the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits correctly. GCFA partners with Staples
GCFA has partnered with Staples to take advantage of negotiated pricing which will be available to all United Methodist churches across the United States. Duke Endowment Gift to Retirees/Widows/Incapacity Members
The Duke Endowment and the NC Conference thankfully recognize the dedicated service of the North Carolina Conference retirees, their widow(er)s, and members on incapacity leave. Camping Office seeking Finance and Human Resources Director
The Camp and Retreat Ministries office is seeking a Finance and Human Resources Director. Duties would include daily financial and accounting activities, payroll, work records and other documentation, financial reviews, cash management, insurance, risk assessment/risk review, working with outside auditors, HR including handbook policies and benefits, forecasting and budgeting. MTF payments due January 31
The annual contributions payments to the Ministers’ Transition Fund (MTF) are due to the Treasurer’s Office no later than Jan. 31, 2013. Payments received after Jan. 31 will be returned to the minister. Failure to pay the contribution by the deadline may result in either forfeiture of this year’s dividend and/or lack of credit towards future dividends.
