Dr. Tim Tyson is the son of a United Methodist preacher who witnessed the aftermath of a lynching in Oxford, NC in the mid-1960’s. This is the story of how the town, and his dad responded to the murder. Mike Wiley is a brilliant actor who portrays everyone in the story. It is sometimes funny, sometimes horrifying, and confronts our faith as we think about what it means to be a disciple. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The author and the actor, along with the talented gospel singer, Mary D. Williams will share their thoughts and answer questions after the show. Let’s talk about race and racism. Where have we been and where are we now? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
