Participants will discover a role for churches, faith-based organizations and community groups to engage in their local food economy. Whether it’s building partnerships with local growers, composting, or selling a value-added product, there are many ways churches can participate.
Registration ends Tuesday, October 23rd.
Cost: There is NO charge for this workshop. However, ALL participants must pre-register.
Lodging: Participants traveling more than 2.0 hours away from event site. Resourceful Communities will arrange all accommodations, and rooms are based on double occupancy.
If you do not have a roommate, one will be assigned. Roommates must also be registered for the convening.
Meals: Morning snack and lunch will be provided. Our caterer will do their best to accommodate meals. If you require a special diet, please be sure to bring something you can snack on.
Mileage Allowance: A gas reimbursement will be provided. 1 (one) per car!
