You are invited to join the good folks from Myers Park UMC in Charlotte to serve our sisters and brothers in Puerto Rico. The situation in Puerto Rico continues to be dire. Power is being restored very slowly, however, equally important is the need for CLEAN WATER. The mission team will spend three days distributing filters in the Humacao region where Hurricane Maria hit land.
Mission details:
Trip Dates: January 18 – 23, 2018
Where: San Juan and the Mountains of Puerto Rico
Cost: airline flight and cost of meals. Each person will purchase their own airline ticket (approx. $350-400 on AA currently).
Accommodations: provided by local churches in Puerto Rico
Ground Transportation: provided
Mission: Distributing hope through water filtration disbursement
