The “Mission of Hope” in Rotifunk, Sierra Leone is a partnership between the North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church and the Sierra Leone Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church – working together to provide quality healthcare to the impoverished people of Sierra Leone – with a focus on those living in and around the town of Rotifunk. Efforts have been underway since Dec 2013 and much has been done, including the partial refurbishment of the Rotifunk hospital (serving 145,000 people), but there is still much to do. Please help us improve the quality of life of thousands of people in Rotifunk. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Rev. Christina Turner, one of the pastors at Wrightsville UMC has a story to tell about her experience at Rotifunk Mission of Hope Hospital in Sierra Leone. Please watch the video to learn more about the places of need and pray about how you might faithfully respond.
