The Robeson County Church and Community Center in Lumberton has issued a special request for funding and volunteers to help sort clothing for victims of Hurricane Matthew.
The Robeson County Church and Community Center has been charged by the Robeson County government to be the main distributor of clothing for those who suffered damage and lost everything from Hurricane Matthew flooding. Because people have been so kind with their donations they desperately need volunteers to help sort and distribute those donations!
Please come to 1401 Starlite Drive, Lumberton, NC 28358 beginning Tuesday, October 25, 2016 to help with sorting the clothing the people so desperately need!
As the result of flood damage due to Hurricane Matthew they are moving their offices and the Home Store temporarily to 1401 Starlite Drive, Lumberton, NC 28358 until the main RCC&CC buildings are cleaned, repaired and rebuilt. If you would like to help with clean up and repair please come to 1401 Starlite Drive to register with the staff, or call the Conference Call Center (888-440-9167) to send a work team.
The Church and Community Center has also asked for help with funding to set up tables to sort clothing. Checks can be made out and sent to RCC&CC to the above address, or made out to your local church with a note in the memo line for RCC&CC Advance #791742.
“Thank you for your prayers and support and may you be richly blessed for your generosity.”
Additional clothes are NOT needed at this time!
