A benefit concert for Perú will be held on Saturday, November 6th in the CLC at White Plains UMC from 7:30 till 9:30 pm. For each $20 donation, one ticket for the concert will be provided. Students and Seniors get a ticket for a $10 donation.
The featured performer is Anthea Neri, a lovely young lady who has been classically trained and who now performs on Broadway. In October, Anthea will be performing at Carnegie Hall in NY. Here’s are some bio excerpts from one of her publicity pages.
Anthea’s passion for singing began at age 4 when she used her mother’s stethoscope as a microphone. Her first public singing debut was at a Phil-Am of NC talent contest when she was 14. Now she will be holding a microphone under the spotlights at Carnegie Hall.
Anthea has trained with world-renowned singing, dancing, and acting coaches and offers a broad repertoire that ranges from Pop to Broadway.
Anthea truly enjoys volunteering for charitable organizations she supports. She explains, “I don’t have a lot of money to give, but if my time and talents can raise money or awareness I am willing to give it all.”
