Cape Hatteras United Methodist Men Volunteer in Ocracoke

The Cape Hatteras United Methodist Men (CHUMM) worked with Disaster Ministries at our Ocracoke Disaster Recovery Center in February. Volunteer Team from Massachusetts Helps with Disaster Relief

Homeowner, Tim Powell, has survived several hurricanes throughout 25 years of residency in Southport, North Carolina. The severe flood damage caused by Hurricane Florence left Tim without a safe place to live. NCC Disaster Response Tree Team

The United Methodist Church Disaster Response Ministry sent a team of tree trimmers to assist homeowner, Richard Gardner, in New Bern, North Carolina. Mr. Gardner was denied assistance by his insurance company due to unstable trees surrounding his home.
